Description of Program and Relief

Free Meal Programs for School Age Children

The Tennessee Department of Education will continue to provide free meals to school aged children despite school closures. Meal programs may vary by school district. Additionally, the YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South is distributing free meals to children under the age of 18 in the Shelby County community.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions

Eligibility requirements for the Department of Education meal programs vary by school district. To find information on available meal programs near you, please use the School Meal Finder tool, which can be accessed by clicking here.

Children under the age of 18 in the Shelby County community are eligible to receive free meals in connection with the YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South meal program.
