Description of Program and Relief

Restoration Working Capital Low Interest Loan Program

As part of Mayor Jackson’s ReStart CLE plan, businesses can receive low interest loans of (i) up to $100,000 for large businesses (more than 30 employees) and (ii) up to $25,000 for small businesses, as well as additional resources that are available through the city’s EDA Working Capital Loan Program for companies with additional need. Eligible businesses can apply loan proceeds towards accounts receivable, rent/mortgage payments, utilities and payroll.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions

To qualify, applicants must have been operating on March 1, 2020 and must demonstrate an impact on cash flow or revenue due to the coronavirus. Preference will be given to applicants that are unable to obtain other coronavirus-related capital, are able to retain and/or restore pre-coronavirus employment and show a substantial negative impact on revenues.
