Description of Program and Relief
Uninsured child-care workers and their immediate household members can now enroll in the New Mexico Medical Insurance Pool (“NMMIP”) and receive free healthcare coverage. The State will pay the cost of premiums for these uninsured workers and their immediate household members as long as they are not eligible for other health insurance coverage and someone in the household tests positive for COVID-19.
