Description of Program and Relief
Financial Assistance for Student Loan Payments for Individuals Affected by the COVID-19 Epidemic
To help with the financial impacts of COVID-19, the New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA) is offering assistance to those who need help making regular payments on their NJCLASS student loans offered by HESAA. Specifically, HESAA is offering relief for individuals facing a diminished income as a result of temporary disability due to contracting COVID-19, unemployment as a result of the COVID-19 epidemic, or other financial hardship caused by the COVID-19 epidemic.
