Description of Program and Relief
Child Care Subsidy Program
The Child Care Subsidy Program is an existing program that helps low-income parents of a child under the age of 13 (or older than 13 with a special need) pay for child care so parents can focus on finding and holding steady work that can support their families’ needs.
In response to COVID-19, all Child Care Subsidy benefits are extended for 90 days. Additionally, the Child Care Subsidy Program will work on a case-by-case to approve additional hours of care for families affected by COVID-19.
