Description of Program and Relief

Minneapolis & St. Paul, Minnesota: Free Meals for Students

Minneapolis and St. Paul public schools are providing free meals to their public school students ages 18 and under during the COVID-19 outbreak. In Minneapolis, meals will be provided Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. with one meal per student. Students must be present to pick up their meal. In St. Paul, students can pick up a one-week supply of meals at their regular bus stops from school buses. Stops are scheduled for Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Students can also get additional meals for curbside pick-up at designated schools.

Other school districts may also have meal provisions and distribution sites. Families should check their school district websites or contact their administration for more information.
