Free Lunch Meal Child Nutrition Policy

Description of Program and Relief

Through a waiver from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Maine Department of Education has extended USDA’s Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) to provide meals to children eighteen and younger, as well as persons with disabilities, over age eighteen, who participate in school programs for people who are mentally or physically disabled, during extended remote learning due to COVID-19.
