Description of Program and Relief
Drivers’ License and Vehicle Registration Extensions
The Division of Vehicles must extend drivers’ licenses that would expire prior to September 15, 2020, and also must set a staggered deadline for vehicle registrations depending on when a vehicle was purchased. Specific registration deadlines are outlined within the order. All driver’s license renewals and vehicle registrations must be completed by December 31, 2020 or else normal late fees will be assessed.
