Description of Program and Relief

Medicaid

Medicaid provides free or low-cost health coverage to eligible persons, including to children, pregnant women, parents, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. Medicaid is managed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (“HHS”), but specific guidelines for Connecticut residents can be found below.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions

The applicant must be a U.S. national, citizen, legal alien, or permanent resident, as well as a resident of Connecticut. In order to qualify, the applicant must have an annual household income (before taxes) that is less than or equal to the following amounts:
