Description of Program and Relief

COVID-19 Call Center

Santa Clara County has partnered with United Way to operate a hotline and text message center to provide residents with information about coronavirus (COVID-19). The service will be part of the existing 2-1-1 service operated by the United Way, which provides callers with information on local community services such as food, shelter, counseling, employment assistance, quality childcare, and senior services.

Residents can access the call center either by dialing 2-1-1 on their telephones or texting the word “coronavirus” to 211211. Both phone and text services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
