Internet Hotspots for Students in Rural Communities and Mobile Hotspot Donation Drive

Governor Ducey announced a mobile hotspot donation drive as part of a partnership between the Arizona Commerce Authority and the Arizona Department of Education to help K-12 students without home internet access during the COVID-19 emergency. The Arizona Department of Administration identified more than 200 hotspot devices across state government that the state is offering to students without home internet access.

Private sector partners are encouraged to donate 20 or more unused hotspot devices to rural schools as part of the Mobile Hotspot Donation Drive.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions

The Arizona Department of Education is working with schools across the state to match hotspot devices to students that have access to take-home computers, but do not have home internet service.
