Description of Program and Relief
The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program
WIC is a public health program providing Alaskan families nutrition and breastfeeding education, counseling, support, nutritious foods and referrals to needed services. Although no specific guidance has issued with respect to COVID-19, persons adversely impacted by COVID-19 and meet general eligibility requirements should be qualified to apply.

Effective immediately.
Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions
Eligibility dependent on, among other things, age, household size, income level, and pregnancy. Participants must live in Alaska, have a child under the age of 5, have a nutritional need, and meet certain income thresholds (e.g., $28,860 maximum yearly income for a single individual, and $39,091 for a two-person household).
