Mental Health Services

NYC Well is a free and confidential program offering mental health counseling, crisis intervention, and information and referral services for New York City residents seeking help for problems like stress, depression, anxiety, or drug or alcohol use.

The program is available 24/7, all year and is staffed by trained mental health professionals. For help, text “WELL” to 65173, call 1-888-NYC-WELL (1-888-692-9355), or chat through the program’s online chat service.
