Description of Program and Relief

Indian Health Services

This program provides funding to the Indian Health Service to cover the cost of COVID-19 testing. Specifically, the program appropriates $64 million in new funding to the Indian Health Service to be used to cover the costs of COVID-19 diagnostic tests, the costs of administering such tests, and the costs of health care services related to determining the need for such tests.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions

Individuals must be receiving health care through the Indian Health Service or an Urban Indian Health Organization.

The Act does not provide for specific application procedures. There may not be an application required other than the normal procedures for receiving health care services through the Indian Health Service or an Urban Indian Health Organization.
