Description of Program and Relief
First Responders Children’s Foundation Emergency Response Fund
The First Responders Children’s Foundation is providing $1,000 grants to first responders who are enduring financial hardships due the COVID-19 outbreak. The Foundation will also fund temporary housing, funeral expenses, and need-based grants to first responders across the country. College scholarships for children of first responders who have died from COVID-19 are also available.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions
To apply, individuals must submit:

A grant application;

Proof of first responder’s status (defined as emergency medical technicians, firefighters, paramedics, police officers, medical personnel treating COVID-19 patients, and employees supporting first responders such as 911 dispatchers);

Proof of COVID-19 exposure, if available;

Proof of financial distress; and

Copies of relevant documents including receipts or invoices
