Description of Program and Relief
Downtown Women’s Center of Los Angeles
During the COVID-19 outbreak, the Downtown Women’s Center of Los Angeles (DWC) is continuing to (i) operate its women’s health clinic, and (ii) provide meal and mail services, shower and bathroom access, and case management and employment services to women in need.

Dates Available
Women’s Health Clinic: Tuesdays and Fridays, 8 a.m.–4 p.m.
Meal Services: Daily, 9 a.m.–9:30 a.m.
Mail Services: Daily, 9:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m.
Shower and Bathroom Access: Monday through Friday, 6 a.m.–4 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays: 7 a.m.–3 p.m.
Case Management and Employment Services: Daily, 10:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.
Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions
At the Women’s Health Clinic, women may be (i) required to wait for an appointment, or (ii) referred to another health clinic, depending on health insurance coverage or specific medical needs.
No eligibility requirements or restrictions for meal and mail services or shower and bathroom access.
Women seeking case management and employment services are instructed to call Kristine Chavez, Clinical Program Manager, whose information is listed below under “Contact Details.”
