Description of Program and Relief
Bread of Life
During the COVID-19 outbreak, Bread of Life’s Malden Food Pantry is providing grab-and-go pre-bagged groceries for individuals in need. Bread of Life is also arranging grocery delivery for individuals who are unable to travel to the Food Pantry. In addition, Bread of Life is partnering with the First Baptist Church to provide grab-and-go evening meals.

Malden Food Pantry: Wednesdays, 4 p.m.–6 p.m.; Fridays, 2 p.m.–4 p.m.
Grocery delivery: Tuesday through Friday, 4 p.m.–6 p.m.
Grab-and-go meals at First Baptist Church: Tuesday through Friday, 5:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m.
Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions
The Malden Food Pantry serves residents of Malden, Everett, Medford, Melrose, Saugus, Stoneham, Wakefield, Winchester, Reading, and North Reading. To adhere to social distancing requirements, Malden Food Pantry asks that only one member of a family visits the Pantry at a time. Face masks are required.
Grocery delivery is available to senior citizens, disabled residents, and families with special circumstances. Special circumstances are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Examples include confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis of a household member and requirement that the household’s usual shopper remain home due to high risk of contracting COVID-19.
There are no eligibility requirements or restrictions to receive grab-and-go meals at First Baptist Church.
