Description of Program and Relief

Bartender Emergency Assistance Program

During the COVID-19 outbreak, The United States Bartenders Guild (USBG) National Charity Foundation is providing relief grants of $150 to $500 to bartenders, bar backs, bar servers, or other workers engaged in the service or preparation of alcoholic beverages.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions

Applicants must:

  • Be a Bartender (defined as an individual employed in serving beverages or otherwise engaged in the production, promotion, or distribution of alcoholic beverages) or the spouse or child of a Bartender;

  • Be able to describe an unforeseen emergency hardship that is damaging to the person or property;

  • Lack the necessities of life, including financial, physical, mental, or emotional well-being as a result of the hardship; and

  • Provide tangible documentation of the hardship.
