Tony Rim is a partner in the Corporate Department, where he focuses on corporate finance and capital markets transactions. Tony advises public and private companies, private equity sponsors and financial institutions in connection with the full spectrum of equity and debt capital raises – including IPOs, follow-on equity offerings, preferred equity, high-yield and leveraged finance transactions. Tony helps clients structure and execute traditional and hybrid capital solutions to fit their needs, for general corporate purposes as well as in special situations involving liability management or restructurings.
Tony also has significant experience in acquisition financings and provides securities law advice in connection with M&A transactions, and he regularly advises corporate clients on securities laws, corporate governance and other general matters.

Acquisition Financings and High-Yield Debt Offerings
- Masonite International in various debt transactions, including high-yield and cross-over 144A/Reg S offerings of nearly $1 billion aggregate of senior notes; committed financing for its attempted $3 billion acquisition of PGT Innovations; and in the financing aspects of its merger with Owens Corning, including tender and exchange offers
- First Data Corporation, a portfolio company of KKR, in various debt capital markets matters, including over $9.5 billion aggregate of secured, unsecured and subordinated notes offerings, and in the financing aspects of its merger with Fiserv
- HCA Healthcare, a portfolio company of KKR, in various debt capital market matters, including SEC-registered offerings of over $8.6 billion aggregate of secured and unsecured notes
- BMC Software, a portfolio company of KKR, in the financing for its acquisition of Compuware, including the offerings of $1.25 billion equivalent USD and Euro first lien and second lien secured notes
- Blackstone and its portfolio companies Hilton Hotels, SeaWorld Entertainment and Gates Global in various debt capital markets transactions
- Blackstone and its portfolio company Finance of America in its $350 million debut high-yield notes offering in connection with its de-SPAC transaction valued at $1.9 billion
- Vista Equity Partners in its LBO financing for the $6.5 billion acquisition of Solera Holdings, including its offering of $1.73 billion senior notes
- Home Point Capital, a portfolio company of Stone Point Capital, in its debut high-yield notes offering and in the financing aspects of its acquisition by Mr. Cooper Group
