A partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Groups, Oliver Marcuse advises leading international private equity firms and portfolio companies on complex cross-border transactions. His practice encompasses a wide range of matters, including leveraged buyouts, acquisitions and disposals, GP-led M&A and secondaries transactions, mergers, joint ventures, co-investments, IPOs, restructurings and refinancings.
Oliver's expertise spans multiple sectors, including healthcare, infrastructure, consumer, industrials, logistics and technology. He has worked on some of the most significant cross-border private equity deals in Europe, representing major sponsors and their portfolio companies. Recognized for his talent in the field, Oliver was named a Private Equity Rising Star 2022 by Law.com.
With extensive experience gained through his work with top-tier private equity firms, including secondments at CVC and Cinven, Oliver brings a deep understanding of the European private equity landscape to his practice.

- €1.7 billion acquisition of Synlab from BC Partners and its combination with Labco and subsequent €5.9 billion IPO
- Fund VI sale of group.ONE to Fund VII, in partnership with OTPP
- US$2 billion acquisition of Ceramtec
- Cinven and Novo Holdings in the €2.8 billion sale of Envirotainer to EQT and Mubadala
- Cinven, Permira and Mid Europa on the acquisition, and subsequent €9.8 billion IPO, of allegro.eu
