An associate in the Litigation Department, César Rivière represents a wide variety of clients in litigation and international arbitration matters, including complex commercial and investment disputes arising out of international business transactions, cross-border affairs and public-private partnerships in the aviation, luxury goods, professional sports, defense, telecommunications, reinsurance, energy and real estate industries.

César regularly contributes to leading publications on international law and corporate matters. César is also active in pro bono matters and has acted as co-counsel in a defamation lawsuit challenging disinformation related to the 2020 presidential election.

During law school, César served as the managing editor of the Columbia Journal of European Law, and served in the French government as an intern in the Diplomatic Unit of the Présidence de la République (2018) and in the Office of the Law of Obligations of the French Ministry of Justice (2016).
