An associate in the Litigation Department, Ariane specializes in congressional investigations, internal investigations, and trials and arbitrations. Ariane has represented numerous clients in public-facing congressional investigations. Ariane has represented clients in oversight investigations launched by the House Oversight and Reform Committee, the Economic and Consumer Policy Subcommittee, the House Natural Resources Committee, and the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack. She has also prepared a trade-association executive for a hearing before the House Oversight Committee. In her litigation practice, Ariane has defended clients in matters spanning diverse industries, including technology and software, pharmaceuticals and financial services. Ariane also has extensive experience advising and counseling companies on the structural development and implementation of compliance systems and processes. Ariane maintains a significant pro bono criminal appeals practice. She represents pro bono clients in cases involving actual innocence, capital criminal defense and juvenile sentencing reform.
