General Atlantic Completes Acquisition of Iron Park Capital, Forming General Atlantic Credit

Paul, Weiss advised General Atlantic in its acquisition of Iron Park Capital Partners, LP, a global credit and investment manager, to form General Atlantic Credit. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
In 2020, GA and Iron Park formed Atlantic Park, which provided capital to companies at varying stages of their corporate and economic lifecycles. Initially structured as a joint venture between the two firms, Atlantic Park leveraged GA’s global reach, domain expertise and reputation among owners and entrepreneurs. GA’s global platform also played a pivotal role in the inaugural Atlantic Park I fund by providing advantages across all phases of the investment process, from sourcing to diligence to value-add initiatives.
