Paul, Weiss advised Pengrowth Energy Corporation, a NYSE listed Canadian oil and natural gas company in its agreement to acquire NAL Energy Corporation in a C$1.3 billion all stock transaction. The transaction, announced in a joint press release on March 23, will provide the combined company with greater size, liquidity and access to capital.
