Paul, Weiss advised an investment fund of Newport Global Advisors L.P. in the closing of an equity cure investment in shares of series A cumulative participating preferred stock of Amtrol Holdings, Inc. Immediately prior to the closing, Newport held approximately 39 percent of the issued and outstanding common stock of Amtrol and committed to purchase up to 4,250 shares of the preferred stock.
