Subsidiaries of Paul, Weiss client Millicom International Cellular S.A. (Millicom) entered into agreements for two groundbreaking tower transactions. The Millicom subsidiaries, Millicom Tanzania Limited and Tigo DRC, agreed to sell communications towers to subsidiaries of Helios Towers. The transactions will provide the Millicom subsidiaries with cash up front and enable them to retain a significant minority stake in the Helios companies. At closing, Millicom Tanzania and Tigo DRC will enter into long-term leasing agreements that provides access to Helios' wireless communications towers and a build-to-suit agreement to support their expanding wireless networks.
