Digicel Group Limited announced an agreement with an affiliate of Paul, Weiss client Soros Fund Management, LLC and an affiliate of Yoma Strategic Holdings with a view to securing one of the two new telecommununications licenses being offered by the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. The consortium brings together expertise from the worlds of telecommunications, strategic investment, banking and infrastructure, and comprises Digicel Group, Quantum Strategic Partners Ltd. and the Yoma Strategic Holdings group.
