Corporate partner Leticia Ossa Daza will participate in a conversation on the relationship between competition and economic growth in Latin America as part of a special event, “From Competition to Competitiveness: Unlocking Growth and Productivity in Latin America and the Caribbean,” hosted by the Atlantic Council and the World Bank. The conversation, moderated by CNN en Español Chief Correspondent Juan Carlos Lopez, will discuss the findings of a new World Bank report, “Competition: The Missing Ingredient for Growth?” Leticia will examine the connection between competition policies and economic growth in the region; how to design policies that will lead to more competitive economies in Latin America and the Caribbean amid the currently stalled economic growth; and how competitiveness can feature in decisionmakers’ agendas, among other topics.
The event will take place in Washington on June 10 at 2 p.m. ET.
