Paul, Weiss Obtains Honorable Military Discharge Upgrade for Pro Bono Client

Paul, Weiss, in partnership with the National Veterans Legal Services Program, successfully represented a Marine Corps veteran in her application for a military discharge upgrade to full honorable status.
Our client suffered a traumatic experience during her service that led her to experience symptoms of PTSD. After being subjected to three instances of non-judicial punishment for minor infractions, our client was discharged with an “other than honorable” status. Paul, Weiss represented the veteran in front of the Board for Correction of Naval Records, where the team successfully obtained an honorable discharge for her.
