Karen Dunn to Speak About Sines v. Kessler at Illinois Holocaust Museum

Litigation partner Karen Dunn will participate in a discussion, “Taking White Supremacy to Court: Lessons From Charlottesville and Beyond,” as part of the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center’s Donald & Sue Pritzker Voices of Conscience Series. Karen and our co-counsel Amy Spitalnick, executive director of Integrity First America, will discuss their groundbreaking case, Sines v. Kessler, and their continued fight to hold violent extremists accountable. The landmark trial and verdict in Sines dealt a devastating blow to the white supremacists, neo-Nazis and other hate groups who conspired to orchestrate violence in Charlottesville, Virginia in August 2017. The discussion will be moderated by Richard Salomon, vice president of the museum’s board of directors, and will feature special remarks by Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker.

The free virtual event is open to the public and will take place on March 6 at 7:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. CT.
