Practices
The Legal Aid Society (LAS) honored Paul, Weiss as a recipient of their 2014 Pro Bono Publico Awards for outstanding service to LAS and its clients. Every year, LAS recognizes the work of volunteer lawyers, law firms, corporations, and other professionals who support LAS and/or participate in their pro bono program by providing exceptional legal services to low-income New Yorkers.
In addition to recognizing the firm, LAS also recognized litigation partners Roberto Finzi, Michele Hirshman, Daniel Kramer, Aidan Synnott and associates Elana Beale, Jeremy Benjamin, Adam Bernstein, Erin Elmouji, Katherine Kelly, Jason Meizlish, Mary Spooner, James Stanley, Christopher Terranova, Ross Weingarten; and former associates Katharine Brooker, Benjamin Chapin, Machteld Jansen and Matthew Moses.
The Honorable Jonathan Lippman, the Chief Judge of the State of New York, presided over the event and presented the awards. The event was held on Wednesday, October 8 at The Prince George Ballroom, 15 East 27 Street, in Manhattan.
