Firm chairman Brad Karp joined a panel titled "Private Securities Litigation" at the Practising Law Institute's 44th Annual Institute on Securities Regulation. The seminar examined key considerations in evaluating and defending a securities class action; the limits of U.S. jurisdictional reach; how both sides can best approach settlement; dealing with related derivative and class actions; and effective use of forensic accountants. The event took place on November 8 in New York.
