Brad Karp and Lorin Reisner Speak at Securities Enforcement Forum New York

Firm Chairman Brad Karp and White Collar and Regulatory Defense Co-Chair Lorin Reisner participated in separate panels during the Securities Enforcement Forum New York conference presented by Securities Docket. Brad moderated a panel entitled “NYC Alphabet Soup: Defending Parallel Investigations Involving the SEC, SDNY, NYAG and Other Agencies,” which focused on strategies for handling complex investigations simultaneously conducted by various government agencies and Congress. Lorin was a panelist on “SEC Practice: Best Practices in Testimony, Wells Process, Settlements and APs,” which discussed strategies for effectively representing clients in connection with SEC enforcement investigations. Securities Enforcement Forum New York brings together current and former SEC officials, securities enforcement and white collar attorneys, in-house counsel and others for a discussion of current securities enforcement issues.

The panels took place in New York on January 28.
