Litigation partner Susanna Buergel was selected to Law 360's list of ten securities lawyers under 40 to watch in the March 24 article, "Rising Star: Paul Weiss' Susanna Buergel."
The article highlights Susanna's notable litigation wins, most recently, the precedent-setting win for Citigroup, where she and other Paul, Weiss litigators successfully argued for the dismissal by the Delaware Court of Chancery of the vast majority of a shareholder derivative suit alleging that the Citigroup board had breached its fiduciary duty by allowing the company to invest in the subprime market. In discussing securities litigation work,
