Description of Program and Relief
COVID-19 Business Loan Guarantee Program
New Mexico has created a Business Loan Guarantee program to assist businesses seeking emergency loans or lines of credit to deal with the economic impact of COVID-19. Under the Business Loan Guarantee program, the Economic Development Department may guarantee a portion of a loan or line of credit up to 80% of the principal or $50,000. Loans can be used for many purposes, including, but not limited to, working capital, inventory, and payroll.
