Description of Program and Relief
Exemption of Some Farmers Markets from Prohibition on Mass Gatherings
On April 24, 2020, the Governor of Iowa announced that some farmers markets will be excepted from prohibitions on mass gatherings. To qualify for the exception, farmers markets must comply with product, spatial, and occupancy requirements and limitations as announced by the Governor. Businesses should check for any additional city or county restrictions.
