Description of Program and Relief
Great Plates Delivered – Free Home Meals for Seniors
Great Plates Delivered is a state-wide program that, in partnership with local restaurants, will provide three free hot meals a day to older Californians who are isolating at home and are ineligible for other nutrition programs. The program will also support local restaurant workers and owners who have lost business during the pandemic.

Available through June 10, 2020 with possible extension.
Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions
In order to be eligible to receive meals under the Restaurants Deliver: Home Meals for Seniors program, recipients must:

Be 65 or older, or 60-64 and at high-risk as defined by CDC (including individuals who are COVID-19 positive, have been exposed to COVID-19, or have an underlying health condition);

Live alone or with one other program-eligible adult;

Not be currently receiving assistance from other state or federal nutrition assistance programs (other types of public assistance are allowable);

Not earn more than 600% of the federal poverty limit; and
-
Affirm an inability to prepare or obtain meals.
