Description of Program and Relief

San Antonio Food Bank Food Distributions

During the COVID-19 outbreak, the San Antonio Food Bank is providing a city-wide food distribution in San Antonio, Texas. Home deliveries are available for elderly and homebound individuals in the greater San Antonio area. Rural distributions are also available for those residing in Atascosa, Bandera, Comal, Edwards, Frio, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr La Salle, Medina, Real, Uvalde, Wilson, and Zavala counties.

Dates Available

City-Wide Distribution: Monday through Friday, 1 pm–4 p.m., Saturdays, 10 a.m.–1 p.m.

Rural Distribution: Times and locations vary; individuals must fill out the registration form to receive information about upcoming distributions in their county.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions

Pre-registration is required for city-wide distribution, home deliveries (for elderly and homebound individuals), and for the rural distributions.

The city-wide distribution limited to 400 participants a day.
