Description of Program and Relief
Person-to-Person
During the COVID-19 outbreak, Person-to-Person is providing free shelf-stable groceries—including fresh produce, protein, and dairy—to residents of Fairfield County, Connecticut. The organization is also providing emergency financial assistance to be used for rent, security deposits, or utilities based on eligibility as determined by a caseworker.

Darien Food Pantry: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
Norwalk Food Pantry: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
Yerwood Center: Monday and Tuesday, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
DOMUS: Wednesday through Friday 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions
To be eligible for food assistance, individuals must:

Reside in Fairfield County; and either
-
Have income below 235% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines; or
-
Have been furloughed from work due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Individuals interested in food pick-up should call and make an appointment at one of the food pantries.

Individuals in need of home delivery (such as seniors, individuals with disabilities, or parents of young children) and individuals interested in emergency financial assistance must call to determine if they are eligible.
