Description of Program and Relief

Dallas Artist Relief Fund

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, Creating Our Future has launched a relief fund to provide support for low-income, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), transgender, gender non-conforming (GNC), non-binary (NB), queer, and disabled artists and freelancers whose livelihoods are being affected as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak in Dallas. The Creating Our Future Dallas Low Income Artist Relief Fund is providing funds in increments of $200 to qualifying artists.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions

To qualify for assistance, individuals must:

  • Be an artist living in Dallas area;

  • Provide their full name, email address and income range;

  • Provide information regarding their artistic discipline;

  • Provide information on any events or jobs that have been canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the amount of income or potential income lost; and

  • Provide their username for Venmo or the Cash App.

Priority will be given to artists and freelancers who are low income, BIPOC, queer, transgender, GNC, NB, and/or disabled.
