Paul, Weiss is committed to promoting inclusivity in the law and expanding opportunities within the profession through the following scholarships and fellowships:

New York University Law School Center on Race, Inequality, and the Law Paul Weiss Student Fellowship Program

The firm partners with the Center on Race, Inequality, and the Law at NYU Law School to offer Paul, Weiss Student Fellowships, providing paid opportunities for NYU Law 2Ls to work on projects with the Center throughout the academic year and present their research to the firm.

The Leadership Institute for Women of Color Attorneys (LIWOCA)

Paul, Weiss partners with LIWOCA, an organization dedicated to helping attorneys develop the critical skills needed to become leaders and partners in the legal profession, with a focus on supporting women of color in law firms and legal departments.

The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) IL Scholars Program

Paul, Weiss offers 1L summer associates the chance to participate in the LCLD 1L Scholars program, which provides professional development, mentoring, and networking opportunities. LCLD’s member organizations include over 350 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners committed to fostering an inclusive legal profession.

New York City Bar Diversity Fellowship

Paul, Weiss is the only law firm to have participated in the New York City Bar 1L Diversity Fellowship program each year since its inception in 1991, a distinction for which we were honored at the organization's 25th anniversary celebration. This program has served as a fruitful pipeline of top talent for the firm over the years. Seven of our last ten Fellows have joined the firm as associates.
