A number of Paul, Weiss associates and summer associates attended a VIP screening of “OnBoard: Story of Black Women On Boards” at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 13. The feature documentary film was produced by nonprofit organization Black Women on Boards, which aims to remove the obstacles that the world’s top Black female executives can face when pursing board of director appointments. The film follows the story of several incredible women who are defying the odds and reaching the pinnacle of their careers.
The event also included a cocktail reception and panel discussion led by Black business leaders. Attendees included leaders from a range of top companies and law schools, including Google, J.P. Morgan, Microsoft, Salesforce, Netflix, 3M, Goldman Sachs, TPG, Harvard Law School and Stanford Law School.
