Brian Hermann Quoted in Business Insider on Restructuring Work Related to the Coronavirus Crisis

Restructuring partner Brian Hermann was quoted extensively in a recent article in Business Insider about the increase in restructurings as a result of the coronavirus crisis. The article notes that different sectors in the United States economy are experiencing a collapse in revenue, and that industries and businesses that were weak before the crisis are particularly vulnerable now. "Liquidity is going to drive how long companies can withstand the shock, so companies that have sizable revolvers and lots of cash can weather this longer," Brian notes. Though even strong industries, like real estate, are feeling the effects of the slowdown on their business, "you'll see lenders and landlords being more patient and more constructive with their borrowers and their tenants,” Brian says.
