Bankruptcy partner Andy Rosenberg co-authored an article in the April 6 issue of Bloomberg's Banking and Finance Reporter. The article discusses the process and results of the GMAC exchange offer. GMAC LLC, a global finance company originally established to provide General Motors dealerships and their customers with vehicle financing, commenced exchange offers with respect to approximately $28.5 billion of its unsecured bonds and approximately $9.4 billion of outstanding unsecured bonds of Residential Capital LLC, GMAC's subsidiary that offers residential mortgages and insurance products, in an effort to modify its capital structure to qualify as a bank holding company.
