Restructuring partner Paul Basta has been named a Law360 “Bankruptcy MVP” for his work on some of the largest and most complex Chapter 11 cases over the past year. The publication highlighted Paul’s work on behalf of the restructuring subcommittee of Sears Holdings Corp.’s board of directors, as well as his leadership of the Paul, Weiss Restructuring Department. The practice has grown by 50 percent in the past two years, with its members involved in virtually every large bankruptcy proceeding in the country, from Sears to Puerto Rico to PG&E in California.
