Real estate of counsel Meredith Kane chaired a panel discussion on April 7 hosted by the Real Estate Board of New York on New York City development and land use issues. With her fellow panelists, Rafael Salamanca, councilmember and chair of the City Council Land Use Committee, Howard Slatkin, deputy executive director of the New York City Department of City Planning, and Peg Breen, president of the New York Landmarks Conservancy, Meredith led the group in discussing land use policy and development issues in East Midtown, Soho/Noho and the South Bronx, along with city and regional housing and energy policy. The audience of REBNY Fellows are mid-career real estate professionals participating in a REBNY/Coro Foundation-sponsored leadership program.
