D1 Capital Closes Seed Deal with Kinetic Partners Management

Paul, Weiss represented D1 Capital Partners in their seed investment and revenue sharing agreement with Kinetic Partners Management, a new hybrid fund manager focusing on public and private investments in the technology, media, telecommunications, consumer and industrial industries. Under the terms of the deal, the D1 funds and certain D1 investors will make investments in the newly launched Kinetic hybrid fund, and the D1 funds will share revenues in performance income generated by funds managed by Kinetic and will benefit from certain other customary rights.
