David Huntington Quoted in The Globe and Mail on Financial Reform Bill
Corporate partner David Huntington was quoted in the article "U.S. Financial Reform Will Keep Lawyers Busy, and Billing, for Years," which appeared in the July 14 issue of The Globe and Mail. The article discusses the Dodd-Frank bill currently before Congress and the complexity of the 2300-page document, which is riddled with areas that beg for further interpretation.
David said that he finds it a fascinating time, where "a junior associate can have the same grasp as the senior banking partner" in deciphering such measures as the Volcker Rule.
