Paul, Weiss was recognized by International Financial Law Review’s 2021 Asia-Pacific Awards with a “Private Equity Deal of the Year” for the firm’s role in the $8.7 billion 58.com take-private transaction, and with a “Restructuring Deal of the Year” for the firm’s role in the restructuring of Virgin Australia Airlines. The firm was also shortlisted for “Private Equity Team of the Year” and “Restructuring Team of the Year.”
The winners are selected based on IFLR’s research, and recognize the most significant and innovative deals of the past year in the Asia-Pacific region. The awards were announced at a virtual ceremony on March 25.
