Two Paul, Weiss transactions have been named 2021 “Deals of the Year” by the China Business Law Journal. The firm was recognized for its representation of a DCP Capital Partners-led group of investors in their $5.7 billion take-private acquisition of 51job, Inc., a leading U.S.-listed, China-based provider of integrated human resource services; and its representation of State Grid International Development Limited in its $3.04 billion acquisition of Compania General de Electricidad S.A. (CGE), a publicly traded corporation, from Spain’s Naturgy Energy Group S.A.
